About Me

The confession: I am a PowerPoint nerd.The backstory: It all started a few years back, during a pivotal career pause. My primary role at the time was helping our newly blended family of four kids and five animals transition into a new home and new schools. My husband and I had both lost our first spouses to cancer, so all six of us were navigating grief while growing into a new chapter of life together. About two years in, I realized I needed something that would challenge my mind and prepare me for my next career move. That’s when I discovered an excellent PowerPoint training that sparked a passion and set me on a trajectory leading to an incredible opportunity working on a global scale at Dell Technologies. There, I honed my skills in crafting compelling presentations and delivering clear, impactful messages.The way-backstory: I am also ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and served as a parish pastor for 17 years. During that time, I founded a nonprofit focused on community revitalization and subsequently developed a volunteer program for Meals on Wheels during the height of the COVID pandemic. These roles taught me to communicate effectively in high-pressure situations and instilled a deep commitment to serving others.The point: Through these experiences, I’ve become adept at structuring and visualizing messages that inspire action and resonate with audiences.
